"Freyja Quest" is a quirky tune I wrote as a submission for the Music Motif Challenge (hosted by 8 Bits to Infinity & Retro Indie Josh). This is my very first jam, so I'm so excited (and honored!) to share my work with you all!

This piece was created in Ableton Live 12 (Lite) using stock instruments and effects with my trusty Arturia Minilab 3! It features a recurring motif, featured in measure 4 (00:05) and was inspired by the idea of my cat, Freyja, taking a little adventure of her own! 

I spent several hours on this tune, but most of that went towards learning how to use Ableton -- while I am a musician (flutist here!) and have composing experience, I'm VERY new to using DAWs and had QUITE a lot to learn. Overall, I'm very proud of what I came up with in such a short time!
